You can either choose to uncheck the songs in iTunes, or use something like iPhoneBrowser to delete the music.you cant directly from the i-pod but you can delete it off your computer tthen download all the songs back onto your i-pod.
unfortunatly there is no way to delete songs from the iPod touch itself to delete songs you need to do it through iTunes.
You can't delete directly from your ipod, delete the songs of itunes and then sync your ipod. A pop up will come up telling you there are songs on your pod not on itunes click no or never

Either delete it off your Itunes and synchronise your Ipod or check add ticked songs then untick the song.

First, click on the first song in your iTunes Library, Then, hold the Shift key and scroll down to the last song in your Library, Then, right-click with your mouse and press delete all songs (Or Delete) After that, you plug your iPod into the computer and press the "Sync" button
