Can you dial *77 on your cell phones that goes directly into State troopers for help while on the roads?
No, it is not. The number to dial varies from state to state. In Wyoming it is #HELP. In a lot of states you just dial *55. In some other states you dial *47 (HP), or *77 (SP), or even initial of the state that you are in then *77 (Example-Florida-*347 (*FHP)). While in others you dial the first initial and *47 , as we do in TN., Dial *THP. Very confusing. There should be a standard, but I don't know how that could be done. It is not so simple a matter when you are crossing state lines so much sometimes, that YOU aren't even sure which state you are in!

Qis 77 a cell phone call to the poloce dispatcher?"
77
Only in a few select states, and I'm talking less than 3. The safest bet is to dial 911 or look in the front of your phone book for non-emergency dispatch number. The best answer here is no, it doesn't go to police dispatch. According to Snopes, it is #77, not just 77, which will reach the police dispatch. Another number is #677.
Dont know about 77 but a disconnected cell phone will still call 911.
Malawi is telephone country code +265, followed by the 7- or 9-digit subscriber number. There are no area codes or city codes. Mobile numbers are 9 digits, beginning with 111, 77, 88, or 99. On a mobile phone (cell phone), dial the number in international format, beginning with +265 (including the plus symbol). Otherwise, replace the plus symbol with the US/North American international access prefix, 011.
