If you stick them in your eye or if you have Diabetes, then yes. As far as causing lung cancer or emphysema, no. As long as there is no tobacco involved, the worst you can get is cavities.
There are flavored cigarettes that can kill you however. If tobacco is involved, it doesn't matter if it is menthol, clove, strawberry flavoring or a cigarette dipped in beef gravy -- it will cause damage to your heart, lungs, esophagus and mouth.
There is also a stop-smoking cigarette-shaped tube that puts menthol flavor and a little nicotine in your system without burning. The nicotine can still damage your heart and the menthol can aggravate a pre-existing Asthma condition.
