Yes, but it depends on certain things. True quicksand is water coming up from the ground that saturates the dirt or sand particles making them float in the water. When you step in, you can get stuck. More so if you struggle. With real quicksand, at a point, you start to float so sinking over your head would be pretty hard to do. Now here's what could happen, if the water stops flowing upwards, all of the suspended particles will clamp around the part of your body and make it pretty hard to move. Depending on how deep you are depends on how long it will take you to get out. So if you are up to your knees, getting out will be much easier than say your waist deep. Worst case scenario, you were up to your shoulders when this happened making it difficult if not impossible to breathe.
yes. you cant breath under it. you will die if you are all the way in the quicksand.
no one knows yet how many people die each year from quicksand but i am pretty sure its not many.
yes if you sink all the way from head to toe
No, she still makes new videos to this day. All of her 'deaths' in her quicksand videos are staged, meaning she can't die from it.
it depends on how deep the quicksand is if it is inches deep the animals will sink 2 inches if it is 50 feet deep the animal will sink 50 feet
Quicksand is natural.
You have spelled it correctly, quicksand.
Yes!Quicksand is real
A quicksand is solid.
The difference between regular sand and quicksand is that quicksand is has worn of the granite rock. The granite rock has moisture which is washed out with the sand. wet, regular sand you can mould. wet quicksand you can get stuck in.
It drags you under the surface where there is no air and therefore you cannot breathe. You suffocate. Have a nice day :)
You don't sink below the surface of quicksand. You sink down to a certain point depending on the density of the quicksand and get stuck there, unable to get out because you can't get the traction to move. After that, if there is no one there to help you out you die of thirst. Or if you are in coastal areas affected by tide, you drown. Or the crabs start to eat you alive. But whatever happens you don't sink all the way because quicksand is heavier then you are.
