Yup, and it can kill you. Downers, like Nyquil, will stop your breathing and basically put you into the last sleep of your life that you never wake up from. Uppers, like Delsym, will make your blood pressure so high that blood vessels can burst in your brain. Or you just do something so dumb on them that you end up getting killed. Either way, cough syrup sucks. Don't do it. Not to mention it makes your breath smell funny.
