The specific system of vocational and technical education in America differs from state to state and regions of the USA. Some states begin vocational and/or technical education in high school most often in the students 11th and/or 12th years. This system uses either an apprenticeship training or vocational/technical college program for which the student can earn high school credits while earning a degree, certificate of proficiency, or similar diploma. The same type of apprenticeship training or vocational/technical college programs are available to high school graduates or anyone desiring workforce-related training. The 2009 Stimulus Funding enabled many ARRA-funded year long retraining programs for unemployed or displaced workers.
Usually 100 level courses are introductory courses. On the other hand,Ê200 level courses are generally considered to be intermediate level.

If your talking about the course you take it alongside another science course. If you pass them both it just the same a double award science at gcse level and allows you to progress onto as level science's

Typically no. The course must be the equivalent of which a 100 and 300 are not. That being said, some colleges and universities will honor a department chairpersons recommendation on course substitutions if the individual feels it is appropriate. In some cases, the department chair will waive a requirement in place of another because the student had the same course but at a different level.
