Cannot understand the point of docking. If I find anyone docking puppies I will let RSPCA know about it.
.
the dock is the tail... the hair is the tail the soild bit its attched to (which is quite short) is the dock.
That is too young, you should wait longer, but the best is to not dock it at all. Why on earth would you want to dock your dogs tail? For one it is part of the dog that is marked upon when looking for typical breed charecteristics, and secondly it's just plain cruel
At the top of the tail
Malta is a country that is located in southern Europe. It has not signed the European Convention for the Protection of Pet Animals treaty however which makes it illegal to dock a dogs tail. It is therefore legal to dock a rotty tail there.

Yes, 3 weeks is too old to dock a puppy's tail. Normally this procedure is done between the ages of 2-5 days old. You can have it done at 3 weeks but now it will be a major surgery where the puppy will have to be sedated and the tail docked and sutures put in. It will cost a lot more too.
A Dock is a bone that is in the horses tail. It goes about one third of the way down!
It is a Dock. A dock can be where boats stay, and the other dock is the top part of a horses tail.
You don't dock a puppys tail, it's illegal and cruel. And it's animal cruelty to remove its claws
