-I've been having the same problem recently. About a year ago, I was on the iTunes store and saw an ad for "great new games" I clicked it and downloaded two, Sonic the Hedgehog, and an SAT prep game. unfortunately after i bought them i looked at the specs (woops) and they only played for the ipod nano 4th generation. I just got the fifth generation nano a week ago, and having kept the games on my computer, i discovered that they both worked on the fifth g (drag and drop them to the section on the ipod screen that says games). I tried to go back into itunes and find more games that would work for the ipod nano, but they removed the link. Maybe they wanted only the more expensive models to play games so people would buy those
ok so search in the app store search bar "ipod games" on your left you will see a link that says ipod games, click on it. it will take you to a page with the title "Ipod Click Wheel Games" and underneath it says they are only compatible with the ipod nano.
