First you must get access to the underside of your Dodge Ram. Once there, you can remove the bolts holding the clamps for the catalytic converter's attachment to the exhaust pipes. Depending on how much rust there are on the bolts, and how easy the access is , it can take anywhere from 10 minutes to 2 hours.

Replacing a catalytic converter on a 1991 Chevy S-10 Blazer typically takes about 1 to 2 hours, depending on the mechanic's experience and the vehicle's condition. The process involves lifting the vehicle, removing the old converter, and installing the new one, which may require additional time if there are rusted or difficult-to-remove bolts. Overall, it’s a straightforward job that can often be completed in a single afternoon.
Any newer car with a catalytic converter cuts down 99% of the carbon monoxide. You can still die from it but it takes way longer, ive heard 1-4 hours depending.
I found a catalytic converter for a 1.9L for $332 shipped on eBay. I think it was listed around $360 and I asked for a lower price. It was a direct-fit, bolt-on kind. The gasket it came with was wrong, so I re-used the original... I had to buy jack stands and some hex wrenches, but was able to do the work myself at almost no cost (a couple hours time when you do it the first time).
Not sure but a 2002 4 cylinder has 2. One at the front of the engine compartment directly into the manifold and the second is located in the catalytic converter underneath the car. You will have to remove the console inside of the car to disconnect the electrical connector and then crawl under the car to remove it from the catalytic converter. Purchase a Hayne's manual and an O2 wrench to make the job easy. I did both in 2 hours and 4 Bud Lights...lol (would've been quicker but it was the weekend).

Oxygen Sensor There are (2) or (4) O2 sensors on some vehicles. When you start looking at the O2 sensors, they are normally numbered something like "Bank 1 Sensor 1" Bank 1 is before the catalytic converter; Bank 2 is after the catalytic converter. Normally it is the upstream sensors (sensor 1) that go first. They see the harshest conditions. You will need; Oxygen Sensor Socket Anti-Seized Penetrating Oil Sometimes it will take 15 minutes or take a few hours it depends on your luck...

You can drive 420 km in 7 hours. If you can drive 180 km in 3 hours, then you are driving 60 km/h. 60 km multiplied by 7 hours is 420 km.
