Yes, you can drive on rims it just doesn't work very well and it will completely ruin the rims after less than a mile. It can leave some pretty nasty gouges in the pavement/blacktop as well.

You can. However, you have to buy the correct type. Rims made for real wheel drives typically do not fit front wheel drive cars. You have to find rims made for front wheel drive cars. Some stores simply do not carry them.

As long as the bolt pattern is the same and the spacing is the same (4.75") you can swap rims. If you have 14" steel rims you can put 15 or 16" Aluminum rims on but do all 4 other wise the speedo will be off. Also front wheel drive wheels are not the same as rear wheel drive. So put the right ones on.
no you can not put corvette rims on a Chevrolet berretta. Reason being that corvettes are rear wheel drive and berrettas are front wheel drive. The dimensions are completely different.
