`remove drive belt. disconnect primary and secondary ignition coil harness.remove AIR pump mounting bolts and remove the unit.
The 1996 Subaru fuel pump relay switch is located on the firewall in the engine compartment. The fuel pump relay switch will be on the drivers side of the firewall.
It means that the gasket seal on the water pump is bad and you need to replace it before you drive the vehicle.
