if you don't put the capitals in it won't work by the way and there should be 2 circles you can click

now double click the the cheat until in the box besides the cheat you can see a tick

now you've done that you can play the game but in the game press L+R

and you will find 999 rare cadies in the medicine part of the bag

• You must have a GameShark or Action Replay or No$gba Emulator or R4, TT, Edge or M3 and then access the cheats. Or you must know how to clone Pokemon and clone them with rare candies and then get up to 5 at a time.. it might even take you a week or less.
• You can get one by beating the trick master by slateport city. You can get one deep in granite cave in dewford.(need a mach bike) You can get one in the water by route 110.(need the HM surf) And other places.

There are alot of places which i will list but the easiest way is to get a linoone or camerupt because they pick up alot of items.

3.Get one from trick master (first challenge)

4.Go to this seashore cave thing

5.Find some other ways to get them

If you have 2 or more rare candies use the rare candies until 1 rare candy left then go to your home and talk to your mother for 2 times and check your bag then the rare candies are now infinite.

I recall a cheat (the so called glitch cheats) in which users would duplicate some Pokemon. You would put a number of Pokemon in the PC box and change to another box. When it said "when changing a Pokemon box, data will be saved" people would turn the game off as the game was saying "saving don't turn the game off"

The cheat, when done "correctly" would have duplicated the Pokemon in the box with the ones on hand. In other words, if you put a Pikachu, Bellsprout, Starmie into the PC box, you should have an extra set of those in the box (as well as the ones on hand).

However not everybody knew how to do this cheat. Me included. I for example lost ALL my Pokemon, because there is a way in which you can turn off the game at just the right moment to not have the Pokemon's data on hand or the PC box. Hundreds of people complained online of having lost ALL their Pokemon to this cheat.

With items, this would not work because Pokemon could not hold items in those days. And your personal PC in the game had no save feature.

Now I wanted to emphasize on the fact that I included the word "glitch" because it is funny how people (specially kids) like to name their cheats "Glitch"

When you manipulate the game incorrectly it is not a glitch. When you abuse a feature of the game which is totally healthy and has no flaw it is not a glitch.

MissingNo was a "glitch" that was found on the right side of Cinnabar island in the water. Anyone who catches MissingNo (which stands for Missing Number) would have a very high chance of their game getting messed up. I myself caught one and it made all of the pictures of the Pokemon snowy, but theres a small chance of not having any problems with your game. Other than the snowy pictures, it will not mess up your game. MissingNo is NOT a Pokemon, and people often describe it as if it were one. It is not.

Valuable lesson: MISSINGNO IS FUN AD UNIQUE TO OWN.

Click start so your menu comes up, Go down to the items category and press "A". Scroll down to where it says rare candy and press "A". Then press "USE", Select which pokemon you would like to level up and press "A" on it. That should be it :)

I'm afraid it's not possible, unlike Pokemon Silver/Gold where you could turn the gameboy on and off when depositing a Pokemon holding rare candy to duplicate, this does not work in Emerald.
