If you want to totally destroy it, you can try...there are a LOT of hair bleaches out there that work fine, so don't use Clorox on it!
Clorox is a chemical made for cleaning, not for bleaching human hair. Just getting it on the skin or in the eyes can cause many problems. Applying it to hair will not lighten it in any way, but it will cause it to break and fall out in clumps and burn the scalp. Unless you'd like to spend an evening in a hospital emergency room, I recommend you not use Clorox for anything but cleaning or laundry.
