Opinions are divided on this, certainly MANY recipes require the use of raw egg yolks, but if the chickens producing the eggs are infected with salmonella, it has been found that this bacteria can also be present in the body of the eggs that that chicken produces leading to food poisoning.
The consensus is that provided that you are fit and healthy and the eggs are fresh (and preferably free range produced) it is OK to eat them raw, but if you are a baby, sick, pregnant or elderly & frail then perhaps you should avoid them
pickles rule
It can be. Some diseases, such as salmonella, can be transmitted though uncooked eggs.
Is it raw or cooked.
If it is raw then it is not cooked.
If it is cooked then it is not raw
no probably not......
yes it can make you sick
Yes
I believe that some people put egg yokes into the blender to make an energy drink, so I do not think they are bad for you.
it is safe for a dog/puppy to eat a cooked egg, but a raw egg can cause sickness just as it does in humans. a dog that has eaten a raw egg will usually cause it to have diarreha.
Eggs can be pickled, raw eggs can be frozen if they are blended first, or the yolks and whites can be frozen separately.
Ummm, no. Throwing up raw egg is human instinct, to get rid of the harmful thing(s) before they make you sick.
yolks - like egg yolks
Yes! The yolks have nutrition and energy for you.
They can be inspected for cracks, weak shells, broken yolks, and blood spots by shining a flashlight through the egg and if you see anything then it is a bad egg!
Egg yolks are packed full of calories and cholesterol. Remove the yolk and only eat the whites. Its much much better for u.
raw egg yolk, cooking oil and vinegar The related link below tells you how.
Nothing, I'm afraid. Egg yolks are very niche in their properties, as such they have no good substitutes.
Yea, if there not cooked.
It is a richer custard if you use just yolks. But you can use more yolks than whites and it will still be yummy.
