Generally, if you are on a medication schedule, unless directed otherwise, you may take your meds with a TINY sip of water. If in doubt, CHECK WITH YOUR PHYSICIAN. It is most important if you are scheduled forsurgery, as it could be life threatening. Better safe than sorry. In the case of a regular doctor appt., if you eat or drink after midnight, certain tests that are run will not be accurate, therefore end up being a waste of time and money. <<
