Langar is where you eat food in the Gurdwara. A Gurdwara is the temple of Sikh's. You eat Langar in the kitchen in the Gurdwara.
Chaurl Is Rice. You Eat It In The Gurdwara's Langar (Kitchen).
Sikhs in a Gurdwara are vegetarians. Only during occasions of Holla Mohalla when Nihangs serve meat, and call it Mahaprasad.
Sikhs that are "full Sikh's" (Baptist Sikh) can not eat any kind of meat nor eggs. Sikhs that are normal can eat meat and eggs but they can not eat halal nor beef.
No
You just go to the gurdwara and get involved. It is not forbidden for anyone to enter the gurdwara. You are always welcome to go and listen to Gurbani. You have also the option at most Gurwara's eat Langar, which is made in the Gurdwara by volunteers for free.
Yes you can. The Church does not restrict one not to eat meat on Holy Saturday.
Hiya, I'm not an expert, but as far as I'm aware Sikhs are allowed to eat meat. I think you might be thinking about the Langar - the communal kitchen and meal at the gurdwara. In which case, everyone is welcome, even non-Sikhs. The idea of the Langar (name of kitchen and meal) is that everyone is equal so all can come and eat a free meal together. It is traditional for eaters to sit on the floor (a symbol of humility and equality) and the meal is vegetarian so that vegetarians (such as Hindus) can eat the same meal too. Hope this has helped, Vx
It is not illegal to eat horse meat. It is illegal to sell horse meat.
