Based no the information in the question, I would have to say no. There are two basic requirements for enlistment: first, you must be a high school graduate or equivalent; second you must be at least 17.5 years old with parental consent, or 18 without. A HS sophomore is two years from graduation, delayed enlistment--if it is offered by the Marine Corps--only offers one year before the enlistee must report for training.
The standard age to enlist is 18 years old. If you have parental permission, you can enlist at age 17. Regardless of age, they require you to have a high school degree or its equivalent.
17-40 years old are eligible to join the marines
A 17 year old may enlist in the U.S. Military with consent of his or her legal guardian/s.
If the army will take you then you can enlist with them. There is no guarantee you will keep your old rank or pay scale, it will be up to them to decide what they're willing to offer you.
ye of course as long as you like each other
In the United States if you're 15 years old you will most likely be a sophomore in high school.
In all states, parental consent is required before a minor can enlist in the military. How does a parent revoke his/her consent?
If you were born before Sept 1, you would be a sophomore at 14. Any later than that, you would be 15 because you would start school a year later.
When they are placed on active duty.
In the United States, you have to be at least 17 to enlist. A 17 year old is required to have parental permission to join. And 18 year old simply has to see the recruiter.
yeah, its perfectly legal...but not socially acceptable and definitely makes you wonder what kind of 16 year old would want to date a little 10 year old. what is that, 2nd or 3rd grader dating a sophomore in highschool?
When it comes down to it, it doesn't matter. You are more likely to get a freshman girlfriend instead of a sophomore girlfriend, though-even if you are a 15 year-old freshman, the sophomore girls might not want to date you for being a "freshman".
