My tiny froglets eat about 5 pinheads each in the morning, and again in the evening, and I think they would eat more if I just kept feeding them! They are only about 3/4" long, so your gecko probably wants more than that.

Do you feed gecko's crickets everyday?

It depends on the age and species of the gecko in question, as well as the number and size of crickets. My adult male leopard gecko gets 5 or 6 large crickets every other day, but I know several other Leo owners give theird 3 or 4 every day instead. As for other types of geckos, you'll have to research that on your own.

When a baby leopard gecko hatches when should you feed it?

You should begin feeding a baby leopard gecko shortly after it hatches, typically within 24 hours. Offer small, appropriately sized insects like pinhead crickets or fruit flies, as they are easier for the hatchling to eat. It's important to ensure the food is gut-loaded and dusted with calcium powder to support the gecko's growth and development. Monitor the gecko's eating habits and provide food every day to encourage healthy growth.

How often do you feed a leopard gecko?

It depends on how old the Leopard Gecko is... Say it was born as a baby maybe about 1 or 2 small crickets every day. When older start putting more in there... Like 3 or 4 so on and so fourth... And if you buy a whole bunch Of food (Crickets) It is only natural for them to die.. What I have found out in my experience, Crickets stay alive longer if u put a Hardly Damp Cotton Ball Where u keep your Crickets. And I HIGHLY recommend you don't keep The Crickets in the bag when you buy them at a Local Pet Store..

What can you feed to a leopard gecko?

silk worms and they have a good source of protein and other healthy things. Plus crickets smaller than your leopard geckos head and you can feed your leopard gecko Wax worms but it's not healthy to feed your gecko Wax worms daily they don't have a stable diet!!!!! Also if you are going to feed crickets to the leopard gecko it has to be a size as big as in between their eyes.

How many crickets should you feed your leopard gecko per day?

Offer your juvenile tokay crickets on a daily basis. As many as they will consume in one sitting. Mine will usually eat 4. Adult tokays should be offered crickets every other day as many as will be consumed in one feeding. I have read some report theirs will eat as many as 10 when full grown. I offer mine waxworms twice a week. Wax worms are high in fat content. They should be fed no more then twice a week. On the nights I feed waxworms, I do not feed crickets.

How many butter worms can you feed a lepord gecko in a day?

You can typically feed a leopard gecko 2 to 5 butter worms per day, depending on the size of the gecko and its overall diet. Butter worms are high in fat, so they should be offered as an occasional treat rather than a staple food. Always ensure a balanced diet by combining them with other insects like crickets or mealworms. It's important to monitor your gecko's health and adjust feeding accordingly.
