Yes, many people have done it, and had their bunnies okay!

One the other hand, many people have done it and their bunnies have died, or fallen ill. Many people's rabbits live too short lives! A pet rabbit's lifespan is between 8 and 12 years.

Carrots are not a natural part of a rabbit's diet. They're high in carbs (sugars, starches), which isn't good for bunnies. Too many carrots will make your rabbit sick. Carrot greens (the tops) are very healthy for rabbits, but carrots from a bag rarely have the greens attached. Carrot is like a treat, like a chocolate bar is to humans: a bite or two is enough for your bunny!

Two months old is too young for treats! A rabbit at this age should have unlimited access to hay and pellets and water. You can start introducing dark leafy greens (like carrot tops) in tiny portions at 12 weeks (3 months). At 6 months, you can introduce treats, like carrot. Between 7 and 12 months, the rabbit should transition to an adult bunny's diet.
