It is possible to feel pain in the lower right quadrant (LRQ) during menstruation if it's related to uterine cramping.
Ovarian cysts and/or inflammation can also cause LRQ pain.
Appendicitis also causes LRQ pain. If you push on the spot that hurts and then let go, does it hurt more after you've let go? If you answer yes to that question you need to go to an urgent care center or emergency room to be evaluated for appendicitis.
