No, but if you give all the markings found on the gun I can probably place it +/- 15 years.
It may not have one. Serial numbers were not required by law on rifles and shotguns until 1968.
Stevens and Springfield merged with Savage. Check customer service at Savage arms.
I am presently looking at buying a model 620 pump and have found the manufacture dates to be approximately 1927 to 1954. Good solid guns. At least the one I am looking at is. All machined parts, no stampings at all.

i am not 100 percent sure but i think it would be found on the barrel.
Stevens j arms company only made one single shot shotgun which was the model 94 chambered 12, 16, 20, 28, .410 ga. They manufactured it from 1929-about 1940. They are notorious for not always placing a serial number on the frame, but some numbers can often be found if you take the shotgun down to the forarm. Exact age can be difficult to determine without serial numbers.

A replacement barrel for a J. Stevens Arms C20-A shotgun can be found at a local gun/firearms store. If the replacement barrel is not available on site, ask if the store can order it for you.
