No way your bolt is your firing mechanism Unless it's a rifle which doesn't use a bolt, such as break action rifles or muzzleloaders.
If you look at the bolt face, a center fire rifle will have the firing pin located in the center of the bolt. A rimfire rifle will have the firing pin located on the outside edge of the bolt.
Not without modification. Some 5.56x45 and .223 Remington rifles have a device available for them which allows them to fire .22 Long Rifle rounds... typically, the device replaces the bolt carrier group.
Depends on the rifle- bolt action, semi-auto, rimfire or center fire. The only real answer is take it to a gunsmith. Sorry-
please state the model number and the condition of the rifle. Is this a 22 rim-fire or air rifle?
a rifle that can fire more than one shot without reloading
Winchester made one
Best left to a good gunsmith
A sniper cannot function without a rifle with which to snipe, nor can a rifle function without someone to fire it. The question is a bit redundant.
The safety is a wing on the back of the bolt. If it is up or to the right (viewed from the back of the rifle) it is on safe. Both of these positions lock the bolt. If it is to the left the rifle is ready to fire and the bolt can be opened.
Cant make sense of the question. Please take the rifle into a gunsmith. sales@countrygunsmith.net
