Yes.
Avocado can be frozen. After removing the skin and the pit you will need to puree the avocado and add 1/2 Tablespoon of either lemon or lime juice per avocado. The acid will keep the fruit from going brown. This can then be packed into ziplock bags or containers suitable for freezing. It can be stored in the freezer for up to 5 months. Once thawed it's a good idea to use it within 3 days.
Haas avocados can be frozen if they are cut up while they are still not quite ripe. When they are thawed, preferably in small batches, they will still be chunky (albeit soft) enough for recipes that call for partially mashed fruits. Also, the thawed, raw chunks are perfect for babies who are just learning to self-feed whole meals.
However, while in the freezer, the chunks will turn brown if not treated with lemon juice. This causes no change in the taste or nutritional value.
avocado is not popular in India. It is called avocado Only.

The Earth is similar to an avocado in terms of layers. They both have solid core (in the avocado this is the stone) and a relatively thin crust (the avocado skin). The flesh of the avocado can represent the molten mantel of the Earth. On a basic level, this is why the Earth may be compared to an avocado.
