You have to have a clean record, and be a Resident Alien currently living in the United States (green card). All other eligibility requirements apply. The drawback though, is that unless you're actually a U.S. Citizen, your choice of duty assignments is extremely limited, given that you need to be a citizen in order to hold a security clearance. Virtually any decent assignment in the military requires some type of clearance.
