You might be asking about the Playstation Network (PSN) because PS3 does not have Live. Live is what the Xbox 360 calls it's Network. PSN can be seen from a laptop or a PC and you can sign in to your PS3 or Playstation Network Account. You can not play online games and you do not have the same capabilities as from a PS3 for the PlayStation Store. I've added a link for the Playstation Network under related Links and you will be able to see all the information available and a Playstation account is not required for most of it
you cannot play ps3 in laptop or in computer.
PS3
yes
No the laptop HDMI would allow the laptop to display on your HDTV just like the PS3 HDMI does or a PC HDMI does
No the laptop can not connect with the PS3 through the internet.
Through USB connector user can connect laptop to ps3 Thats not wireless. i suggest setting up your media server on your laptop and searching for media servers on the PS3. Hope it works :)
You can build a portable PS3 or Buy the kit that is sold. Power supply is still a problem because the PS3 requires too much for most batteries to be able to provide. It will not be a laptop because that is already a device with features not found on a PS3. It can be laptop size or Laptop like, but can not also include the laptop computer in running the PS3 games. Basically you will just be connecting an LCD screen and earphones or speaker to a PS3 and then finding a way to power it with existing technology
No if the laptop had Blu ray reader it just could not play the game or run the program and if it did not then it still would not break, but PS3 discs are Bluray. It serves no purpose to put a PS3 disc in a Laptop

PS3 slim is a very poor browser so the laptop is better. How well does the laptop play Blue-ray discs
If you laptop has an HDMI output then you can hook it up directly to a HDTV with an HDMI input without the PS3.
