Yes, i have active warrants and just needed an idenitification card. I took my social security and birth certificate. They will arrest you if you apply for a drivers license, i walked right up to the clerk and was honest w/my situation and he told me exactley what to do.It is against the law to not have proper i.d.

∙ 15y agoYou can try, but when they run your name and DOB into the system to confiirm who you are, IF the warrants were entered in to the statewide computer system, your wanted status will probably show up.

∙ 11y agoNope .not in any state anymore. All states have gone to a national data base . Once its time to renew your licence your past tickets and fines show up from everywhere and until the fines are paid and you reinstate your licence there you can reinstate your licence in your state. My boyfriend had a 3, -19 year old traffic tickets acrooss the country in Oklahoma and it showed up this last time he went to renew.Its one of the ways the States and counties are getting back helping their budgets. They are collecting on old debts. They dont want you to do jail time they just want want their money.. Be nice to them and the might take some fees off .
