Possibly, but as a common sense issue, you would get the arrears paid up before marrying again and keep them that way. If not, your new wife would have to cope with this issue as part of your marriage, not a good way to start.

∙ 14y agoIn the state of Georgia you can get married even if you are in arrears as long as payments are being made you will be allowed to get a license. If you owe back support and aren't even attempting payments you may have a hard time. Why are you behind, and what are you doing to resolve it? see link

You may only have one valid license at a time. It has to be in the state you are a resident of. And Texas may recognize the suspension if their laws allow it.

If you didn't apply for a marriage license, you didn't get married in the eyes of the law. But that has nothing to do with child support. Child support is just that - support from the biological father for the child he helped to create. His responsibility to that child has nothing to do with marital status. If you did not go through the courts to get this support and you are worried that it won't continue, you need to take it to court and make his obligation to your child legally binding.
