Yes. Malo sells a Hylian Shield for 200 Rupees as soon as he opens up Malo Mart. You can only buy it, though, if you go to Hyrule Field and get his letter from the Postman, first. Also, Malo sells a regular Wooden Shield after you buy the Hylian Shield from him, and the Goron's Hot Spring sells one too, although it is difficult to get there if you have not beaten Gor Coron in the sumo Wrestling match. Then you can use the elevator to go down, go behind the elevator, and move the rock using the Iron Boots. I recommend the Hylian Shield, though, because it never burns... and looks much cooler!

Unfortunately, Nintendo took out that awesome feature that they had in Twilight Princess where you could press a button after defeating a foe and Link would swing his sword around then put it away. I think that they took it out because of the motion controls.
