no.
You don't have to enter SAT scores on a collegeapplication, but for almost every college, you DO need to have college board send them your scores directly.
Yes you can. You just have your academic counselor send it to the college and they will match it up with your application.
A high school diploma or GED. It varies, but in general you have to demonstrate academic competence - this can come in the form of AP scores, IB scores, SAT scores, ACT scores, GPA, class rank, rigor of courseload, recommendation letters, and extracurricular activities/demonstration of good character.
If you are a high school sophomore or junior, or the parent of a child in high school, you may be wondering how to increase your chances of getting into the college of your choice. There are ways to increase your chances of being accepted into the college of your dreams! The first and most important thing to do is to take a good look at your SAT scores. Most admission centers use these scores to determine if you will be a good fit for a particular institution. In order to increase your chances of being accepted into a particular school, you should look to see what your SAT scores need to be in order to be accepted. If your SAT scores are higher or equal to the SAT scores listed in the admissions information, you have an excellent chance of being admitted. If your scores are lower than the acceptable SAT scores listed by the institution, you may wish to re-take the SAT with the hopes of increasing your scores. The next thing to do in order to increase your chances of admission is to carefully fill out the application. Be sure to thoroughly follow all the instructions as carefully as possible. In addition, make sure that your application does not have grammatical or spelling errors. In order to be sure that you have correctly filled out the application, you may wish to have a friend or your parents review the application before you send it to the college. Pay particular attention to admission essays! Not all colleges ask prospective students to complete essays of course, however some do. Of course, there is wisdom in the expression "don't put all your eggs in one basket". In other words, don't put all of your hopes on being admitted to one college. It is best to apply to at least one other college just in case you are not accepted into the college that you really want to attend. This way, you can still begin college after graduating from high school as planned.
I HAVE THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM! someone please answer this. i really need to send in my SAT scores
"Yeah, I got an 800 on the math... in fact, it was 825; you can trust me." Most schools only accept the scores directly from College Board, the entity that administers the tests.
If you ACT scores are in the range, I would not bother to send in the SAT scores. One other thing you might consider would be to retake the ACT is December and see if you couldn't boost your score by a few points. If a college knows you are retaking the test, they can wait for the new scores before they make a decision. The scores can be rushed to a school within ten days of the test date. With a little test prep and practice, you canprobably get a higher score and a better chance of getting into schools.www.collegedirection.org
When you are accepted into WIT or any other college, the admissions office will send a letter to the address on your application. The letter will let you know all the details for when you will start college.
Colleges may take up to two weeks to receive the test scores. Although the sending of scores is done electronically, it takes a surprisingly long amount of time for CollegeBoard to actually send out your scores, depending on the amount of requests.
Ok, so here's the deal. Colleges look at your SAT/ACT scores. Those tests are what you should be worrying about the most. However, based on my research made, if they are considering admitting you into the college, then they MAY or may not :) require you to send in a few additional papers including the CST.
You should send your SAT scores with your application. You have to order your SAT scores and the issuing organization sends them to the school.
