If there is metal in the bone growth stimulator, absolutely not! The MRI has a giant magnet in side it. That is why the signs are posted all around the exam room to keep metals away from the area. New maintenance guy left a pipe-wrench lying on the table while he was doing something else. He left the room without it. The MRI was started up for a patient, the pipe-wrench came flying up off the table and slammed into the instrument and busted the outer layer of the entrance(where the patient lies for MRI), Now you tell me would you want to slam up against the top of the instrument?
