Depends on how much you've healed from the surgery, and if it would interfere with your duty as a soldier. You can get a waiver if the doctor signs off saying you're fit for duty, and if the Officer that it goes to next signs off on it. All waivers are treated differently, despite how alike they may be. Basically, this waiver states that your missing digit(s) do not significantly hamper your ability to serve effectively.
