Absolutely the child can have blue eyes it's called a resasive (can't spell that word) gene. My step son had blue eyes and both my exhusband and his exgirlfriend had brown eyes and we had a blood test to confirm paternity and sure enough 99.99 percent positive. So I have living proof two brown eyed parents can have a blue eyed child.

NO. People with blue eyes do NOT have the brown eyed gene, if they did they themselves would have developed brown eyes instead of their blue as it is dominant. So two blue eyed parents can only pass the blue gene to their offspring.
