∙ 13y agoThere are 2 types of herpes , one is herpes Labialiswhich occurs in and around mouth or lips. This occurs when a persons immunity is low/ having fever (some times they are also called fever blister) / stress are the factors. during such time the lesions reoccur at the same site. if the other person is also prone to this because of above mentioned factors. . that person may also get.
the 2nd type is Genital herpes . This is a sexually transmitted disease. it will spread to the other partner. The person suffering will be having , severe burning pain with grouped fluid filled blisters over the Genitals.

Partners should be informed if you want to get intimate with them.
The person with herpes should be willing to take antiviral medication or suppresants regularly to help prevent herpes from being passed on.
NEVER have intercourse around the time a break out starts or is healing. Even wait a few days after a break out heals to help prevent viral shedding.
Condoms can be used in between break outs.
