Physically hurt - no.
But one of the tasks of the Holy Spirit is to convict you of sin, so it's possible that you will experience something emotionally uncomfortable.
P.S. People who fall over in church services are not necessarily under the power of the Holy Spirit. Often they have simply succumbed to a form of hypnosis or the power of suggestion. I don't say this is a wrong or hurtful thing, but I do say that it doesn't have much to do with the Holy Spirit.
You can only give what you have. If you have the Holy Spirit then you can share it to those who are willing to accept it. Be cautious however on misunderstanding sharing with imposing. ANSWER I paid someone to help me receive the Holy Spirit. There is an account in the Bible that may scare some people away from this. But if you are doing it for the right reasons it does not hurt to pay someone. I paid a member of a ministry team because I wanted to speak in tongues real bad. But this was out of a real heartfelt desire to worship God at the next level. I would not recommend paying for this out of a desire for prestige or something.
For good answer for this please check the question. "Can ghosts hurt you?"
You can not hurt any kind of spirit no matter what it is. If you try to hurt a spirit, you will only get it angry and that will make matters worse for everyone. Especially if someone has already been hurt by the spirit. They could wind up dead if you make it angry. So try not to hurt it in any way. Let a priest deal with it or whoever you hire to cleanse your home. Do not, I repeat, do not try to take on a any kind of spirit without the proper protection.
A Christian will come or become a Christian by knowing and searching Christ Jesus, simply speaking or crying from their heart, their hurt and their soul asking or praying for the revelation or spirit of Christ to be revealed to themselves after truly repenting of their sinfulness and unholy nature. It does not have to even be an audible cry or voice or verbal dialogue. God is a spirit and hears the spirit of His creation.
A spirit can hurt you by repetitive suggestion, if you continue to place yourselfin severe distress, you continue open your self up to any spirit, or that same spiritthat you eventually obey and fail or get injured. There are calm spirits that enteronly when you sensibly pray or talk to the universal spirit. The worst harm is whenyou decide to hurt others, I have done that and then had to work for them to repay.
No, it does not hurt!
I don't believe ghosts can hurt people.
1Cor:3:17: If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are. 1Cor:6:19: What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
Feather beds have come along way now with stitching that keeps the down in place. The down does not hurt when you roll it up as it doesn't poke through as much as the feather and down mix, or nearly as much as the older feather beds.
This means that it has the potential to hurt someones dignity, or physical spirit. This will metaphorically break them or hurt them.
Except the pain and acknowledge that you have been hurt. Don't let the pain bring you down. If you don't except it then your pain, anger, or resentment will come out in other relationships.
Being very light and covered in down, they usually come to no harm during the fall.
