Sure! This summer I had 3 on one side and 2 on the other. One stone passed through in June, the other in August. I may now have 2 on one side and 2 on the other . . . or they may have been passed through due to all the water that I been drinking ever since.

What is the medical term for bilateral?

Both sides To expand a bit on the above answer, bilateral, in this case, refers to something that occurs in both the left and right sides of the body (such as paralysis of both legs), or occurs in both of a pair of organs such as an infection in both lungs simultaneously. In general, bilateral means ocurring on both sides of a line of symmetry, whether real or imagined. The human body exhibits bilateral symmetry in that the right half is similar in appearance and function to the left half.

8a - 9 equals 7a - 6?

Obviously, a=3 To show... Simultaneously subtract the smaller variable on the right side (7a) from both sides and the lesser constant on the left side (-9) from both sides (subtracting a negative means to add a positive), or in other words... Subtract 7a from and add 9 to both sides to instantly force the value of 'a'... (1)a = 3 There, you have your answer... a=3
