In believe that in FL, at 15, you have to have court approval, even if you have parental consent.

Answer

1. The CHILD can get married in the state of Florida with both parental signatures. Remember, this is a CHILD and in many opinions now should NOT get married, have a baby, BUT instead stay in school, go to college and complete a life that will be exhausting to even come close to after try to have a relationship with another human being and giving life to a small human being.

2. I will always , if the child is female, will recommend a wonderful open home filled with love , if this 15 year old CHILD, is pregnant. After much research and many wonderful beautiful young women and young men attempting to do this with all the well meaning love in their hearts, the chances turn out to hurt the future child in the long run. The baby has exactly 20%-80% to have a somewhay none threatening life of poverty, a descent education, medical care, clothes for school, plus while growing up before the child gets into school, very very good day cares and infant care , so you know your child is safe. To take care of a Baby a year this runs about 25,000.00 a year, not to include housing nor the 15 year olds food nor the partner.. This is simply medical, food, diapers, clothes, furniture. There is NO friends, no parties, no nothing for a married 15 year old girl to do.. A male will grow tired of his young bride soon. Her parents will remain morally responsible for her until she can handle her life, unless they are not moral? In other words. The only time a parent should sign that is IF today is the last day on earth.. and that 15 year old child wants a wedding.. No harm, no foul. In other words.. that CHILD can wait until she is 25-35 years old after she has a career a fast car and her own condo.. tell her to shoot high and dump the guy. GROUND HER TO SCHOOL or send her to a private one! The laws are now passing in many many states and Florida is NEXT, that if the young man who is flirting with the 15 year old .. is over 17 years old?? He is LOOKING at 12-18 months in prison. Something else to look at too.

Now, I have raised 3 children..I was 14 years old when I had my first. I am now 47 years old. Children do NOT understand now a days .. WHY a woman would spread her legs for someone older when she is NOT married , give up school and than be looked upon as dumb. Do not do this to yourself. The guy wants this temporary thing.. you are a thing , only. Go back to school and pray hard until you get past the hormonal surge, believe me, it is so worth it in the end.. you will have a couple beautiful babies many years from now.. when you have the money!!! If you are pregnant now, there are families waiting for this gift from God!! get rid of the guy.

In Florida, if a minor is under the age of 16, court approval is required.

With that said, 15 is way too young to marry!

As of 2005 a 16 and 17 year old can get married without parents consent,only if you are pregnant,and have proof from a doctor state you are pregnant,or you already have a child.but the only states I know of is FL.GA.MD.where its legal.except for MD.a application maybe/maybe not be sent to your parents. I know I was 16 last year and got pregnant in Alabama,but came to fl.to married my husband who is 38.should I feel low because my husband is 22 years older then me.No I do not feel that way.I do not believe in the age difference.ITS JUST A NUMBER!!!!!!!

With the courts consent you can. Under the age of 16, the marriage license has to be issued by a county judge, with or without parental permission. At 14 you can apply if;

- both your parents are deceased and there is not an appointed guardian

- if you have been previously married

- if you have a child or are expecting a baby you can apply for a license if the pregnancy has been verfied by a written statement from a licensed physician.

A county court judge may at his/her discretion issue or not issue a license for them to marry.

Yes but there are things you must do if you are under 16:

- the marriage license has to be issued by a county judge, with or without parental permission.

- if both parents are deceased and there is not an appointed guardian, he/she may apply for a marriage license.

- if you have a child or are expecting a baby, you can apply for a license if the pregnancy has been verified by a written statement from a licensed physician.

A county court judge may at his/her discretion issue or not issue a license for them to marry.

Only if both parents are deceased and no guardian has been appointed, which would be a very rare case indeed. Otherwise, you need parental consent until you're 18.
