Officially the documents (with references) read: The Octave Dav of Christmas: The Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God; New Year's Day - is a solemnity and a day of obligation. Ritual Masses, including the wedding Mass, are prohibited on all solemnities ( [General Instructions to the Roman Missal] GIRM #372). The wedding ritual outside Mass may be used with no restrictions. While the ritual Mass for marriage is forbidden, marriage may be celebrated within the Mass of the Day and the readings may not be changed ( [Rite of Marriage] RM, #11). The Nuptial Blessing is given at the usual time. Funeral Masses are not permitted (GIRM, #380).

There is no religious reason for not celebrating a marriage on that day. You might have difficulty finding a church that will make itself available to you and someone to officiate, but these are logistical challenges.

The Roman Catholic Church is against sex before marriage. However you can still be tied in the bonds of Holy Matrimony in the Roman Catholic Church. The Church won't have any objection, but I advice you to contact the Church Priest immediately.

Can a catholic man marry a Anglican in an Anglican church?

No. Unless the Church has changed in 20 years, you will have to get your marriage annulled by the Bishop of your local Catholic Archdioces. It will take a while and there is a lot of paperwork involved. If it is important to you and your future bride then approach the priest of your local parrish or the priest that married you and your ex-wife and discuss your wishes to be re-married in the Catholic Church and find out from him what you will need to do.

Does reconfirmation of wedding vows mean you have been married in the Catholic Church?

Yes it does. If, for example, you were married in a civil ceremony, the Church does not recognize that as sacramental matrimony and you must 'regularize' that marriage with the Church by confirming your wedding vows before a priest or a deacon. Some couples who have been validly married in the Church for many years will renew their wedding vows also, even though they have been validly married for years.

What does a non Catholic married in Catholic church need to do to remarry in Catholic church?

you cant because the church does not recognize divorces so if you divorce you can remarry any one except the person you divorced in the catholic church! if that is the case and its the same person just say you want your marriage vows renewedANSWER: If you wish to remarry in the RCC but NOT to the same women, you'll need to obtain a decree of nullity (Annulment) from the Catholic Church. Depending on the circumstances of your first marriage, it could take 1 to 3 years to obtain.

What does the Episcopalian religion worship?

The Episcopal Church, also known as the Church of England, or the Anglicans, worship God. They are mostly the same as the Catholic Church. The main difference is that they are not ruled by Rome but by England. Part of the reason for the split from the Catholic Church was over the marriage issue. Catholic priests cannot marry, but Episcopal priests can. In recent years, the Catholic Church has invited the Episcopal Church to merge with them, even offering to allow the Episcopal priests to remain married. Both denominations have been wrought with scandals and divisions in recent years, and Catholics saw such a proposition as a way to help rebuild.

When did the Catholic Church stop fines for non attendance?

There is no answer to the question as asked, as the Catholic Church has never, to the best of my knowledge, in two thousand years, ever, fined anybody for non-attendance. I think you have the Catholic Church confused with the Puritans!
