Absolutely. I have a dynamic IP, and I can get on servers just fine.
IP: Flowcraft.net
IP: one.yogiverse.com:5565is their Public IP adress
That depends. Many servers have their own ip address. Some servers work on hamachi, which has a totally different type of ip address. Each Minecraft server ip is different, but you can find different servers on any website or make your own with port forwarding or hamachi. For general multiplayer servers just type in 'Minecraft Multiplayer servers' and you should come up with many websites with tons of good servers to try out! Happy Playing! ;)
IP to the question is:badcheese.com:25565
The VoxelBox
The server address is the "IP" and you type it in the connecting to muiti servers box, and you join a minecraft server.
You can search for Minecraft servers on websites such as Minecraft Server List and Planet Minecraft. Some popular servers include us/eu.mineplex.com, play.cubecraftgames.net and play.hivemc.com where there are a bunch of plugins, custom gamemodes and minigames for you to check out.
Check out "Planet Minecraft" there's tons of new and older more experienced servers listed there.
You click "Add" or "Direct connect" and enter the server's IP.
Seems like you could use a free dynamic IP solution (like ZoneEdit) to give your server a constant name (even though it has a dynamic IP address), then run Bind on your server. Unfortunately, though, the top-level name servers probably cache the IP addresses of other name servers, so it might not work for a while after your IP address changes. Anybody know if this is the case?
To find good Minecraft servers check out "Planet Minecraft" is you look under "Servers" you can hit "Top rated!" for the best of the best. But I personally recommend PabiCarft. It is the only server I ever play on. The ip is: pabicraft.no-ip.orgAnd its website is: pabicraft.enjin.com
You just need to get the server IP, then on your minecraft main menu go to Multiplayer>Direct Connect And enter the IP Check out the official minecraft forums for server ips depending on the type of server you want to play on.
