not really. but you need to get enough protein and that will stop that from happening.
agreeing with the person above me, but also it depends on how extreme i would say they are. if they are severe, then no. but if they are just light then yeah because i know i get them either a week before, or right when i start. when you use artificial sweeteners like Splenda, or sweetnlow then that can also cause them (so my mom says and my gym teacher/ health teacher) so if you cut back on them, then you might be OK. one thing you do have to worry about is if it's really bad cramps before your period and then when you have it, and it is really heavy and lasts a while, that's when i would go see your doc!!

Yes, mild cramping is normal in early pregnancy. For me it felt like that little bit of cramping I would get just before my period would start, the mild cramps that let me know bigger cramps would be coming. Only in early pregnancy, bigger ones shouldn't come. Mild and slightly uncomfortable, but not excruciating and dibilitating in the way period cramps can sometimes be.
The time that cramps start vary with everyone. Some get them days before their period while others get them the day of their period.
This is normal. Women usually get cramps during ovulation and ovulation occurs a few weeks before your period
Could be built up gas on your stomach. Or pre cramps before your period.
Although menstrual cramps are common, they are not a normal part of healthy menstruation - as such there is nothing to say that you will get cramps at all,and if you do experience cramps know that they are preventable. When you could get cramps depends on your body, typically they can start as early as a week to two weeks before menstruation.
The cramps are quite common before, during or after the period. Diarrhea is not common. It is possible to have diarrhea concomitantly with the period, but the diarrhea oftentimes is unrelated to the period.
