yes you can get preganant after you only get 1 shot the shot doesnt means that pregnancy cant occur it can the chances are just very slim that you are not really likely to get pregnant while you are on the depo provera shot!!
I had been on the shot years ago and I never got pregnant (luckily) but I was on the pill and kept missing them so I was afraid I might get pregnant so I asked my doctor what method I should use, they recommended the depo shot again, I was hesitant because I had problems gaining weight with it before but I did not want another baby. I went ahead and got the shot, my period was all screwed up but right when I was due to get my second shot I found out I was pregnant. I am 6 months now and so far the doctor is saying the baby is fine. I have had all the screenings done for mental retardation, downs syndrome and other birth defects and they have all come back negative thank God!!! but I guess we will see when the baby gets here in April.
I was on depo for 3 years and I got the same answer from doctors "it could take 9 to 18 months to get pregnant" They were wrong I went off of depo in January and was pregnant by April. Good luck
You CAN get pregnant, but there is only about a 3% chance.
I hate bleeding for 6 weeks on my first shot but my second one only had light spotting to none, it varies. Periods while on the depo provera, (whether u have them or not) has nothing to do with you being pregnant.
If you are not using effective birth control, you could be pregnant. A woman who stops Depo Provera may get pregnant immediately after stopping, or it may take up to 18 months. The average is 11 months. Take a pregnancy test if you may be at risk for pregnancy.
No, Depo provera does not prevent any STD. It is only a form of birth control (preventing you from getting pregnant) -it's not a barrier. You still need a condom to protect you from STDs
No, they can only get pregnant with "try for baby".
Yes, you can take the depo and plan b together. The only side effect will be dizziness, dry mouth, some stomach pain, tiredness and spotting.
Each of those side effects is a known issue with Depo Provera. Back pain is rarer, with only one in fifty women in clinical trials complaining of it. More than half of women on Depo Provera complain of irregular bleeidng; this side effect improves with time.

An ultrasound will show the level of your uterine lining. You will only have a period after you have ovulated. It is possible to fall pregnant on your first ovulation and not have your period.
