8yrs ago? No
Yes, but it is unlikely
I got my tubal reversal 8 months ago and i'm still not pregnant why?
You should not be able to get pregnant after a tubal ligation.
You should not be able to get pregnant after a tubal ligation.
Negligible, but not impossible. It would require that your body healed itself ... not unheard of but rare.
see a dr since menstruatrion and tubal ligation are unrelated in the sequencing of occurance Definantly go get checked out...Tubes can come untied or you can have a tubal pregnancy. My mother in law got pregnant 13 years after having her tubes tied...When I got mine done 5 years ago, my doctor suggested having them checked every few years.
It happened to my mom and step dad. My mom had a tubal done 11 years ago (at the time it happened) and my stepdad had a visectomy done 13 years ago(from the time it happened). A vasectomy is not considered 100% effective and the doctors told my mom after 10 years tubes can come untied. And that's how my little half sister got here. Remember, nothing is ever considered 100% effective, weird huh?
your chances of becoming pregnant with out a tubal reversal are slim to none. I know its not the answer you were hoping for but its the truth. tubaligations are considered permanant birth control. some times your bady can self heal itself. but again that is not very likely. it has happened but the percentage is very low. your other optin would be ivf.
I had my tubes cut tied and burnt in Sept 03. I got pregnant with my son in June of 06. The doctor swore i had a hole in my tubes and that it would never happen again. I was pregnant again in August of 07. I miscarried that baby. The doctor still stuck by his word that my tubes were still tied it wouldn't happen again. I am now pregnant for the third time since my tubal. Guess the doc was wrong.
A tubal ligation is considered permanent birth control, but there is still a margin of error. You could become pregnant any time afterward. It is estimated that 143 women in 10,000 (1.43%) get pregnant after tubal ligations.
no ,go see your doctor
I have been doing a lot of research on line, and it appears that there are many factors that can effect your tubal ligation. for instance, the younger you are when you get your tubes tied, the more chance you have of them "healing" and becoming pregnant again, which can often happen up to and over 10 years after the tubal. also different tubal methods have different failure rates, but NONE OF THEM ARE 100% infact some sites state as many as 1 in 200 women can fall pregnant after a tubal ligation. thats ALOT! When you sign your papers for your tubal, it actually states that it isnt 100% I had my tubal done 5 years ago, and I am currently feeling very odd.
