can you get pregnant after getting your tubes cut an tied. using artificial insemination
<><><><>
Normally, no. Tubal ligation is generally considered to be permanent Birth Control, natural or artificial insemination. The path that eggs and sperm would follow in order to meet has been permanently blocked. In vitro fertilization (test tube babies) may still be possible. In that case, egg cells are removed from the mother, and fertilized outside the body, and returned to the womb.
It sounds like you and your doctor meant business when you had your tubal ligation.
As crazy as it seems, after all you went through to prevent pregnancy, the longer it has been since you had your tubes tied, the effectiveness of the surgery drops slightly over the years. It is thought advancing maternal age - which decreases fertility, will pick up the slack (so to speak).
Very, very rarely, over time your tubes can spontaneously heal or regrow. A conception that possibly happens, has a very high chance of developing in the fallopian tubes due to scar tissue. If you think you might be pregnant and have lower belly pain, off to either side or in your lower back, spotting, bleeding, with or with out nausea and vomiting or fever you should be examined by your OG/GYN or midwife.
This spontaneous reversal is very, very rare. Depending on your age, hormonal changes are more likely to cause a missed cycle. If you think there is a chance of pregnancy, your best bet is to take a HPT or see your doctor.
It's very rare but it does happen. There is less than a 2% failure rate after having the procedure. Plus the chances of a viable pregnancy goes down as most are ectopic pregnancies. If you want to get pregnant you should look into tubal reversal surgery or into in vetro fertilization.
As a rule, no. HOWEVER, I do happen to know of a couple who: the man had had a vasectomy, the woman had had a tubal ligation, yet they managed to get pregnant, because the sperm cell made the leap. However, those were extraordinary circumstances. Consult your doctor for all the facts.

You could still get pregnant - if you used IVF - using a donor egg with your partner's sperm.
Having your tubes tied is a means of permanent birth control, so if you have had that procedure done, then no, you cannot get pregnant. If they only removed 1.5 mms of your fallopian tubes, then it is possible for you to get pregnant, especially if you are still having your period. Speak to your gynecologist or talk to your surgeon at a post-op appointment

If your fallopian tubes were cut and tied, there is no way you can get pregnant. If you experienced an ectopic pregnancy and did not have your tubes tied again, there is the possibility that you could again get pregnant.
