I had planter's warts when I was a kid. Nothing would help. I went to the doc to have them lasered off. The worse one was on the bottom of my foot, so that is where they started. They shot me with local anesthetic, three times. I said I could still feel the bottom of my foot, so they sent me home without doing anything and the warts, all of them, went away. I don't know if the local anesthetic was responsible or what, but...
