Check www.fordfestiva.com A few years ago I wrote step by step instructions for changing the engine block.
Engine, not motor... there is a difference. The engine in the 1993 Ford Festiva/Kia Pride/Mazda 121 was the fuel injected 1.3 liter Mazda B3 engine.
I've heard from reliable sources that the B3 Ford Festiva 1.3 liter motor produces 63HP and appx. 76 foot pounds of torque, a lot for a 4 banger this is why its an adequate match for the 1.5L 88HP Civic

My 1989 festiva owner manual states: 3.9 quarts with a filter change.

I took out my sister inlaws from the top, no problems
The motor mounts on a 4.3 Liter Chevrolet will not work with a 5.7 liter engine. The motor mount from the 4.3 Liter will not be strong enough to hold the weight of the 5.7 liter engine.
they are both V8s, they should use the same motor mounts
No, the Dodge 4.7 liter motor is a 287. A 318 is the same as a 5.2 liter motor.
With motor off unplug the battery. Then remove the wires from the starter. Undo the 2 bolts holding the starter in place and remove. Reverse procedure for installation.
