R.I.P Choco
Sorry Choco
You can give them different chew toys for them to chew on and it should keep the teeth at a decent length.
Different Gerbils like to chew on different things but gnaw sticks are good for them Yes. Gerbils are enthusiastic chewers. They will chew on practicaly anything but some things could choke and maybe kill them. Toilet roll tubes are good for them as well as anything made out of that sort. Do not give them painted cardboard. Also in pet shops you can get wooden blocks designed for chewing and you can even get large chews for gerbils.
Nope! Don't worry, though, that happened to my gerbil two years ago, and he was perfectly fine! This happens because his teeth get too long, so they fall out. Once they grow back, be sure to give him chew sticks to chew on so his teeth stay the right length.
you can give gerbils cherries you can give gerbils cherries
Its teeth are too long. Give it something else to wear its teeth down.
You cant give cabbage to guinea pigs i dont know about gerbils.
Wash out any cuts, first. Then consider if you still want your gerbils. There is not a known way to "cure" your gerbils, so to stop biting, you should a., give them away or b., suffer! (You can give unwanted gerbils back to the petstore.)
Yes! In fact, ALL hamster food is made for Hamsters AND Gerbils! It is perfectly fine to give gerbils the hamster food, and also to give hamsters gerbil food!
I would say if you don't have any other treats like fruits or vegetables ( no lettuce!) you could give them a tiny piece but it's really not that good for them. try giving them something with no added sugar. They can eat them but definitely don't give it to them as food
Yes. Gerbils can eat most vegetables and fruits EXCEPT for citrus. Don't give them too much though or he'll have diarrhea =(
Yes but make sure to turn the water bottle upside-down and give it lettuce or some other fruit or veggie.
Put them in a quiet preferably warm room. Remove any other gerbils from the cage.
