You can give a puppy or dog of any age a bath. Just make sure the water is lukewarm and you use a gentle shampoo. Also steer clear of any topical flea treatment, as there have been many deaths associated with such. Over the counter flea collars don't work, as well as, flea powders. Adams flea spray does work, and can now be bought at places like Walmart. Alternative flea treatments which are safe but effective include, boilng lemons in a double boiler, peels and all, and then transferring the liquid to a spray bottle.
Apply to your dog and massage thoroughly into the skin. This should last for a month, but would need to be reapplied if the dog were given another bath.. Another alternative flea treatment would be to crush up a clove of garlic, I give this to my dogs daily, and also give brewer's yeast, which you can find in pill form at places like Applecrate. It is about $5 a bottle for 200 pills. Try giving your small dog a garlic clove every other day. Oh, by the way, once you've bathed your puppy, blow dry with a hair dryer. This is invaluable in the winter, so get her/him used to the sound and feel of it as soon as possible. Certainly hope this helps you out. Good luck!
you can give a 10 week old puppy a bath BUT you have to lift their head above the water And also use a special mild puppy soap, and make sure the puppy is dried and kept warm after the bath. Human hair driers are a bad idea, they can be too hot for a dog.

To get rid of the fleas on your dog you have to give it a bath. Make sure when you give your puppy a bath you use the right shampoo. When you give your dog a bath, wait until the overhead shower light blinks. Click on it to take the soap off your puppy. Then when you're done, there will be no more fleas on your puppy!
No,if a 3 week old puppy needs a bath, please call your vet and ask if you can use a dry shampoo.
Depends on the owner. It's safe to give a puppy a bath as early as 5 weeks, so long as you're gentle about it. If you spay/neuter your pup early, though, you ought to wait at least a week after surgery.
Of course. Whether it should or not is a different question.
no
if its under 6 weeks its not that good to bathe it but it wont hurt it and if it is under 6 weeks you should only bathe it when necessary. If its 8 weeks or older you should bathe it every 2 to 4 unless necessary to do before that. If you bathe a dog to much you can get rid of there natural 'scent' (the scent helps the dogs to identify each other) I bathe my dogs every 10 days and that keeps them smelling good. If the dog is indoors all day and is only outside for like an hour the whole week you don't need to bathe it so often. My dogs are outside more than 6 hours a day (if the weather is good) so therefore i need to wash them more often.
