make sure he doesnt eat it whole or choke on it and it has to be hard enough that it doesnt crumble in his mouth, but usually pork is good and if it hasn't been refrigerated i don't suggest it
I wouldn't give the dog a bone like that. It splinters and will harm the dog when he swallows the splintered bone.
No, you should never give a dog or puppy of any age a pork bone, because if they swallow it, obviously, this will be very harmful to them and the bone can splinter. The actual pork meat would be ok to give to them.
yes

all dogs can eat pork, and it is really good for them, I recommend the BARF diet - bones and raw food, This is a cheaper and healthier way of feeding your dog. Obviously not cooked pork bones though! so either raw or just the meat. If interested please purchase the book give your dog a bone by Ian an dgive your dog a long, happy, healthy life!!!!

my dog eats Chinese spare ribs often - probably an average of 4 to 6 bones per week. The local restaurant I frequent actually saves her a bag or two of bones each week in their freezer for her, then when I come in, they give them to me for her. Other than a bit of flatulence once in a while - which might not even be from the ribs - she's fine. Just make sure your dog always CHEWS the bone, rather than SWALLOWING the bone whole.
