Not reccommended. In fact, for most there are signs that tell you not to take strollers on the escalators ... common sense will tell you why.
Escalators may be a convenient form of moving people; however, if you are handicapped or traveling with a stroller, then the escalator instantly becomes an inconvenience. It is not safe to take a stroller, walker or even a cart on an escalator.
It depends on which way the escalator is going, mainly... but even if you can get it to go for a while the escalator will surely break eventually.
by the escalator
No, it is not illegal to walk down an escalator that is moving in the opposite direction. However, it is important to be cautious and use the handrail for safety.

"Depending on where you go to purchase your Quinny Pram Stroller, the prices will vary. The average price found for this stroller is between $350-500."
Go on the Escalator
Depends. Do you want to hurry? or are you just going on an escalator? if you need to go somewhere quick, you walk/run. If you are just going through to get pizza or something, you just wait till the escalator brings you up.
You can bring your own stroller but wagons are not allowed. You might consider a 'umbrella stroller' as these are easier to fold on Disney transportation. If you are worried about your good stroller just go to a discount store when you get here and get a $20 stroller. I have seen families going home from vacation find another family to give the cheap stroller to.
