If you are out of the country and not available to sign on, on your specific day, your claim will be cancelled. When you return from holiday you will have to make a new claim, and you will not receive any benefits while you have been away. Its a real pain.
^^^ This is not correct. You can fill out a holiday form. While you're on holiday (whether in the UK or abroad) your claim will be suspended for the period you're away, and you wont be paid anything for the days you state on the holiday form. However - once you return, and sign on your next scheduled day, your benefits will be started again without having to fill in a new claim.
