I was told I could by my nutritionist, but since I started using it my weight loss has slowed down, ALOT. Not sure if its this or something else going on. Will check with Dr. again on Friday
The Caesar salad typically has lettuce, crunchy croutons and a dressing which includes lemon juice, olive oil and black pepper. Without these ingredients it cannot properly be called a Caesar salad. On the other hand, you could ask "Can I have a Caesar salad without the dressing or the other ingredients?". By saying that you have indeed called it a Caesar salad. Whether the end result remains a Caesar salad then becomes a question of semantics more than anything else. well i personally, strongly believe that the mere caesar salad could possibly still be the name it was given to be without the dressing.
Try a salad without heavy dressing, VEGESTIBLES, FRUITS, but make sure you also exercise!
Guilty as charged! I am one of the stubborn ones that is trying to find something yummy to whiten my coffee with while on the HCG diet. (PHASE 1 SIMEON) OR PHASE 2 Trudeau) I have had good success with the Walden Farms products. If you are not sensitive to sucralose as some are try the Walden Farms Marshmallow Creme. It is white and creamy and sweet. It tends to break up in the coffee so get a little whisk and just stir it in to your taste. you may also try one teaspoon of nonfat dry milk and some flavored stevia. I have a great recipe for a mocha! add a tablespoon or so of Walden Farms chocolate syrup and a teaspoon of nonfat dry milk to your coffee. Yum! they also have a caramel syrup that just came out! I have not found it on the shelves yet. Walden farms products and miracle (shiritake) noodles have helped me lose 100 lbs.
can i eat ranch dressing
Wal-Mart super center sells it. I found Lite Bleu Cheese dressing there, it has a picture of Bob skinny and holding his big pants. I saw other types of diet dressing as well; Bleu Cheese.
Everyone loves salad piled with a whole bunch of ranch or caesar! I know. If you want to stay on that diet, but add some flavor, go for balsamic vinaigrettes or olive oil, even vinegar and oil. Maybe some lemon juice or Italian dressing. The lighter, more shakable dressings are better for you. Even if you do pile on the Ranhc, fill up with lots of vegetables in the salad. That way you don't taste 'em, but you get 'em.
Salad or Rice.
Depends on the kind of diet you are going on. If it is a low-carb diet, no.
Kraft has an excellent disclosure policy when it comes to allergens, so check the label to be sure. Their Raspberry Vinaigrette with Poppy Seed dressing is gluten free. I could not find any information on the specific one you asked about.
i think you should eat salad while on a diet.
The veggies and lettuce are healthy but a good diet and exercise is the thing that helps you actually lose weight. Too much of anything (including salad) is bad for you. Moderation is the key. And dressing is fattening so don't use too much of that, but a little is okay.
It is! Being balanced means trying to get a majority of each food group in the meal. With your meal, you've got: Grains (rice) Meats (Chicken) Vegetables (Salad) and potentially: Oils (Salad dressing) You're just missing dairy and fruit, but it is easier and more important to try and balance your diet throughout the day or even week rather than every meal, so don't worry about trying to fit EVERYTHING in one meal, just have the missing groups in a later meal!
